I test drove a red turbo RX7 late model about 3yrs old just befor I bought my S2000. Black leather interior. I loved everything about it! If I ever change from my S2000 now though the thing I'm gonna miss the most is having the top down in the Summer especially, when the winds still warm on your face.

Could have had the RX7 for

Hey guys i decided on the S2000, only because i wanted a new car. If there were 2002 RX7's then it would be the Mazda. Man I love the S2000 though! Get it in a week!

Oh gee that'll be great, some more 'Look what I got Pics!' LOL

I quite envy you when you start hitting that vtec for the first time.
You'll find the car doesn't lack for much!

I skipped over all the replies, ignore any that are from people who haven't driven both cars. The proof is in how the SCCA rates them. a third gen RX-7 is Super Stock, the hootest, a S2K is B stock. It'll out accelerate AND corner a S2k. Drive a S2K and see for yourself. The three advantages of the S2K are convertible, for me a sportscar isn't one unless it's convertible, I was hoping that Mazda would make a convertible gen 3, and reliability an awfull lot of RX-7 owners have had serios engine problems, but if you haven't, yet, you probably won't. Third, more headroom in the Honda, even with the top up.

Why buy a bike when roller blades are so much better?
If I were you, I'd keep the RX-7 and get a 2004 S2K.

I love RX-7, 300ZX, Supra, del Sol, CRX, S2K and NSX.

IMO, lots a chix dig convertibles.

I wouldn't part with the RX-7

The Rx-7 is a rocketship, the turbos will snap your neck back, (as you know but most listers don't), buy a bike (motorcycle0 if you have a death wish. You could put a blower on a S2000 (see Sport and Compact Cars) then you might have the best of both worlds.

Hmmm...I've never thought of myself as suicidal. No, a blower on an S2000 is not the best of both worlds, doesn't even approach the excitement of a top sportbike.
