02 S2K.. 1 changed to glass top over the weekend
Took freakin forevAR!!!!... 5 hours to be exact... looks great, tight as a drum now, and it's kinda weird being able to see out the back.. i use to rely purly on my side mirrors.. but now i can see behind me with the top UP!!!! AMAZING... but i got a few issues... plz help out if you can and chime in....
1. I accidentally didn't screw down a fold at the bottom (it might make sense to some folk who've done this)... now there's a slight wrinkle with the top up... gonna fix that this weekend... (or at least I hope that's the problem)
2. I accidentally left a rivet or something in the frame.. and now when I hit a bumpy road.. there's a rattling or clicking sound from inside the frame.. any ideas on how to fix this!?!?!?!?
3. This street cat likes to sleep on my top... probably cause its soft and warm... I didn't mind too much when I had my old top.. but i'm a bit nervous he might scratch my new one with his claws... i'm not a cat person.. so i have no idea how to deal with this... car cover? scarecrow? guard dog? Any practical ideas?
Thanks ya'll....
J!
Oh... and the smell of new car returns when you change the top.... hehe... or at least the smell of new plastic....

I can answer # 2 for you. when i had a shop do my top they left the old rivets in the bars. they have rubber caps at the end of the bars that you can remove and blow thru. it sure is nice to be able to see out the back. did you do one with the rear defroster. I did and it works very nice.
