Unless your S2000 is a heck of a lot quicker than mine, there are more than a few Civics (mostly older ones) running around that will blow your doors off.
Of course Civics that run low 12's or better usually handle like crap, and even if they didn't, I don't think I'd let it bother me. It's a Civic for gosh sakes. Great, fun little economy car, but not the kind of thing people buy when they're looking for a car like the S2000.

Compare the S2000 to it's competition; Just compare it to all the other under 2l roadsters. Let's see; There is the new Miata ... What else?

My dad has an 07 Si Coupe, and a 06 S2000.

The Si is fun as hell, but the S2000 will always be just that extra bit more awesome.

Picked this up off the web. Also I believe top gear did race a Si and an S2000, but couldn't find the you-tube:

Track
Laguna Seca
S2000 1:50.738
Civic Si 1:54.990

Specs
Max speed
S2000 149.42 m/h (241 km/h)
Civic Si 142.6 m/h (230 km/h)
Quarter mile time
S2000 13.9
Civic Si 15.1

Power/weight ratio:
S2000 0.14
Civic Si 0.11

The Answer
Honda S2000 is noticeably faster.

EDIT: BTW, here's my link: http://www.fastestlaps.com/index.php?page_...2=45d368e68b0af

Excellent translation. My statistical evaluation skills were rusty, I couldn't have done it without you.
