i had both at the same time. the Si and S2000 are both very fun, but in different ways. the Civic Si is very responsive and agile, but the S2000 is much more fun because it's RWD, pulls harder, is RWD, and has a cool/wow factor that no Civic can really ever have. but i love both cars.

I should test drive one of those Sis someday.
They look nice, IMO.
I bet they handle pretty well too.
As for the interior, I REALLY REALLY like the interior of the new Civics.
Not the seats, but the dash layouts.

In short, I think the Si is a great DD.

Just proves that it's *always* a drivers race, but the Civic did make a good accounting of itself.

The day everyone realizes that at some point in time (not now though) - and if the S undergoes no further development, a stock si IS going to be faster than the S - is the day there will be world peace. But WGAF? A stock CTR FD2 is already faster than the S. Doesn't change the fact that the S is and will always remain a great car.

 

raced my dad this weekend AP2 vs. FG2 4dr stock to stock S wins but the Si is a way better car IMO
