I think that would be easier actually. If you gutted behind the seats, and cut the trunk, you could use the cars own weight for downforce

lookin forward to the day someone hit 200 in a street s2k
thats quite true!

I'd love to hit 200mph in an s2000, but the only thing that worrys me is aerodynamic lift at that speed, and I really dont have access to the equipment to safely test it.

So i'll be sticking with my gear limited 175ish mph.

-AP2 trans with 1.16 secondary reduction gear
-PuddyMod built 4.10 rear end
-255/35/18 (188mph)
-275/40/18 (200.6mph)

I am not saying I'll try to hit this, but I am just curious if anyone else has tried it as surely there are plenty of S2000s which are easily capable of it given the power. It seems that the only way to really achieve those speeds is with the AP2 trans and AP1 final reduction gear, installed in a high powered AP1.

If no one has done it I guess I wouldnt be terribly shocked, but I am curious how the aerodynamics of an S2000 would hold up at those speeds.

With my Kraftwerks setup (10psi 355whp) I could do a highway pull from 70mph and hit redline in 6th with ease. It didnt take very long at all. I can only imagine what 500whp would be like, I guess i'll find out soon enough.
You forgot that Puddy can put in the 3.9 (lowest FD the S2000 stock diff can fit) which would be much better for your setup than stock 4.1. With all of that, calculator says you'd be able to hit about 205~ MPH.
