Thanks for taking my back, as for everyone arguing about the lack of torque relative to other cars it doesn't have much, but anyone that can shift efficiently should have no trouble driving one every day, and besides, with such a great shifter it is pretty hard to complain about rowing the gears.

Too bad there's not a "You Missed The Sarcasm!" type smiley, along the lines of the "This Thread Is Useless Without Pics" one.

BTW, to address the torque issue , I own an '00, '04, and a Tacoma - the '00 has plenty of torque, the '04 has a little more but its barely noticable, and the Taco has significantly more crank torque but because of the gearing has less wheel torque. Torque != driveability, people!

ps - alas, looks like they pulled the Toyota engine pic.
