wow....those things are not pretty! Seeing how the guy ruined my front fender, i'd have to line my whole car with that stuff and not just the doors themselves. I think ill pass, great idea though.

Not sure what you could do with it but what if you set up a camera for the times that the truck arrives and departs. If it really is a constant occurance he is obviously an ass hole and could care less or he is doing it deliberately because you have a nice car. I would take a video and confront him about it. Get his insurance info or if it is a company truck talk to his company. At a minimum I would make the dude pay your deductible for repairs.

Not sure if all that would work but I would have flipped already on the dude.

Depending on the insurance, you can file a claim, tell them you know who did it, give them the plate number and vehicle description. Depending on the extent of the damage will depend on what they'll do. If it's bad enough they can do there own investigation which would include confronting the owner and seeing if they can get an admission of fault. If they don't sometimes if you've been a long time customer they'll wave your deductible and cover it on your own comprehensive coverage (your rates should not go up!)

I had a friend where the dings kept happening, he had $0 deductible and would just file a claim every time it happened. It would get fixed and again the person continued to ding up the car. This went on and after about the 7th ding, the INSURANCE actually paid for a Private Investigator to catch the guy in the act. No idea what happened to the guy but needless to say, the door dings stopped. It was in the insurance's best interest to find the guy who did it to get him to pay up.

If you have crap insurance good luck.
