in my honest unbiased opinion, you should get which ever one is in better condition. Best bang for the buck.

No "tune" but you will need to have they keys reprogramed.

i feel the Ap1 is more "hardcore" especially the early models.

Ap2's are a little more forgiving and "softer" but i wouldnt take any credit away from them though.
