He probably hit you because from your pictures, you double-parked.

I hate it when people double-park - thinking that there car is so better then anyone elses that they require 2 parking spots.

Bummer, I had something similar happen to mine and my damage was a little worse than yours. The good news is my baby looks good as new and 9 out of 10 people can't find the area I had repaired. My driver side fender was damaged and the body shop had to paint almost half of the car to ensure the paint blend was perfect.

I would fight for a new door or pay the difference or you'll be unhappy and MAKE SURE you tell them you're VERY picky. Mine is a silverstone also. Good luck...

HOLY SHIT!

What the hell did he do? get a 1/4 mile headstart and go full throttle into your car?! Thats not a parking lot bump! Ive seen worse accidents on the road..

I hate idiots.. may they all be fired from life.

That sucks bro.... I hope you get it fixed to perfection.. I got a few bumps and bruises from this past season and its going into a body shop in the spring.. I like to wait until the shop dies down and its nice and slow so he doesnt feel rushed when working on my car..

I am getting a new door, I know the guy at the body shop, so it was not a problem.

No bondo is going on my S2000 No way!

Hopefully everything will be done by the 15th of the month!

But hey, whats wrong with driving a METRO for a week or so! They are pretty quick, right? lol
