I took it pretty easy on my 04 when I first got it. The first 600 miles = nothing over 5.5k...after that I gradually worked in some Vtec until I had 1k miles on the car, and started using all 8200 revs available.

And the 04's unlike earlier 2.0's seem to use almost no oil during breakin. At least that is what my friends and I have noticed.

No quit surfing the wed and go drive your car!!

 

I noticed zero oil comsumtion during break ni and I drove it liek I stole it from night one.
