Default Buzzing from the engine

Hey I saw the bulletin in the service section and my 2001 model does this buzzing noise decelerating. Has anyone here had the some problem in their 2001 and if you did , did you get honda to do anything about it?

Herb Chambers service manager in Boston said the noise was "normal for this type of car", but others have been able to get the clutch replaced under the TSB.

Speaking of which, are the 02 models making this noise?

I also have a 2001 and experience several different sounds, including a buzzing, from the drivetrain on deceleration. I have no intention of taking it in for this, since the car runs great and I don't want some mechanic to screw up what is a strong-running engine.
Ownership of old British sports cars in the 60's and 70's has made me much more tolerant of "noises" from the drivetrain.

That probably explains why I, too, am hesitant about taking my S2000 to the dealership. As one who has owned "sports cars" of all descriptions and from many different eras, I'm just amazed that the S2000 starts every time, doesn't leak water in a rainstorm, or cut-out when I hit a puddle of water in the road Then again, this is my first Honda...

I have a 2000, and also have the buzzing. I started a thread about the buzzing and inquired about not doing the TSB to fix it. Most people think that nothing bad will come of not doing the TSB to fix it. If you can live with it, I'd just leave it alone. That's what I'm doing.
