Since I got my car back from having the clutch tsb done, I have noticed a metallic rattling noise coming from the engine. It happens while driving or while revving while sitting still. You can here it sporadically at low rpms, consistently above 6000 and it becomes very loud and ugly sounding at 8000 rpms. I just got a call from the dealer's service dept saying that the car should not be driven at those rpms so they can't be responsible???? Anybody else have any similar noises after service was done? Any ideas to what might be causing it.

that's funny, i have the same problem, it sounds similar to the rattling problem before, but louder and while in the higher rpm's, i'll call my dealer and see what they say

in any case, i agree- the dealer needs to fix it... maybe find a new dealer

I had the same thing after my clutch TSB... a high pitched ringing when reving over 3 or 4k rpm, even while still in nuetral. I took it back and had the service guy listen. He heard the ringing, said "yup", took the car and had it back in less than 5 minutes. Ringing gone. It was just a loose washer or something similar. Judging from the response you got, sounds like your service dept sucks... I'm sorry to say.
