changed gear without clutch
I used to do this in my '82 Accord. The shifter moved like butter. When I had my '94 Civic, I tried a couple times, but moving from neutral into gear required more force than I was willing to apply. The Accord needed almost no force. I haven't tried it in the S2000, and I doubt that I will.

When I had a broken left leg at the end of the summer, I drove my S2k a LOT without using the clutch... I would only use the clutch to get moving from a stop. I never had any grinding of gears, and it was easy to upshift and downshift, with how close the gear ratios are on these cars. It is actually EASIER on all of the drivetrain components if you do it *properly*... Most people can't get it exact, and that's where you risk damage to your transmission.
Racing for years and doing hundreds of double-clutch downshifts in track events makes you pretty good at upshifts and downshifts.
