Channel Button died-what now?
Hi,
My channel button (above ignition button) doesn't light up anymore when I turn on the lights.
Is this:
A). covered by a bumper to bumper warranty?
B). something worth fixing..... worth the risk of them pulling off the dash and F-ing up some wiring?
Thanks,
Paul

A) If the car's still in the base 36/36 warranty, I'd expect the light to be covered.
B) Depends on how much you trust your dealers service department. It shouldn't be a problem but any time you open the dash up, especially in an area that has a lot of electrical stuff close by (like that digital instrument panel!), you're taking a risk.
Bottom line, how much do you miss that light? Now that I think of it, I don't remember the dash lights on the remote radio controls being that bright in the first place and I never have to look at them to work them anyway.
Good luck & Drive Safe,
Steve R.
I second that my friend and I took apart his dash because coolant was coming in it was pain to put back. There was no missing screw but you also realize honda put a lot of junk in there and you wonder what it for but you put it back anyways.
