This may sound dumb and I may not have read the whole thread, but when this happened to me, I hadn't put the gas cap back on all the way. I took it off, put it back on and restarted the car four times. Went for a 15 minute drive and the light went out and hasn't come back on. That was over a year ago.

Just an idea.

Your car is probably still under warranty. If it was purchased after 1 Dec 01 you are all set. It is possible a 02 was delivered before that date however not likely.

Okay its going to the dealer Friday.

I did the whole gas cap thing but it was on tight and I pulled the reset ECU fuse and it came on after a few miles of driving.

I found some old threads that involved similiar problems, it looks like others have gone from replacing the plugs to even replacing the fuel injectors when this code was thrown on their S.

Im hoping its nothing too serious but also they keep their end of the warranty seeing as how people have had some problems getting things covered. The car is stock as the day it came from Honda so I'm not worried about any of those issues.

I do notice that the car idles kind of funny now and the exhaust tone is not smooth and flat, ever so often it lets out a louder puff than usual.

Oh well, I'll do a follow up post after the dealer looks at it.

Does anyone else have any suggetions or similar probs?

Thanks.
