Ever bother to clean and polish that plastic window? I've seen quite a few that look great because their owners actually took the time to properly maintain it. If you're too lazy to do that then how is that Honda's problem? How do you explain the boxsters, miatas, BMW's, and countless other cars with plastic rear windows if this is such a big safety problem?

To me this just looks like someone carrying on the proud American tradition of clogging up our courts to try and get something for nothing and fill the pockets of this country's lawyers. And we have quite a bit more to lose than just our time. Do you think Honda just gets this money out of thin air? No, this cost is passed onto all future Honda customers driving prices up.

ghubbell, get a grip!
Honda is not at fault for putting in a plastic rear window.
You however, might be at fault for getting out of the grumpy side of bed!!!
Let it go, buy a 2002 or learn how to care for your car.

Didn't you know the window was plastic when you bought the car?

First let me say that I will NOT take part in any Class Action versus Honda suit. That said, the back window on my car was in worse condition that my Miata's window was after 7 or 8 years when I bought it NEW in 1999. I have spent countless hours trying to make the back window clear enough to see through with no luck. I can assure you that my being lazy has nothing to do with the poor excuse for a rear window on my car.

This is just more of the stupid shit that fills up the courts! You knew your S2000 had a plastic window when you bought it didn't you?

I am pretty sure the Ferarri Modena Spyder has a plastic window(in addition to all of those mentioned earlier in this thread).

O well... both of my S2000's have had near perfect looking rear windows... i clean with "MaGuires cleaner wax" (right or wrong) and it works.... it worked on my dad's S2000 too, so......
