Here is what I got back from them.. It only took a week.
-------------------Letter Start ------------
####, we've had this inquiry from the S2k community before.. but havent actually started up a prototype yet. Reason being, we are looking to develop a product much more detailed than a simple clear replacement.
If anything, we would look into performing additional modifications such as clearing the lens, converting the sidemarker to high-intensity LED (to match with the factory HID/XENON), and possibly painting the housing body color. There are several other things we can do to the headlight to make it more unique, but thats just a quick list.
Same goes for the tail lights - we want to create a dual-LED setup (like the NISSAN S13 here:
NISSAN S13 Link, see second row of pics).
As for pricing, we are a low-volume company and do not cator to the masses thus, quantity discount pricing is not available. However, if you are looking for something completely unique and out-of-the-ordinary, then we should be able to help. Estimated pricing on a fully converted
headlight assembly with clear lens and LED retrofit will be around $400-500/pair. Painting the housing body color or adding LED city lights to the factory projector will also be additional.
As for the high-intensity tail light conversion, pricing will vary according to what is modified. A dual-LED setup for the brake lamps alone can end up costing around 450-550/pair. Again, thats just for the brake lamps. Adding LEDs in the sidemarkers and/or the reverse lights will be additional.
A full-clear tail light would look pretty cool, especially with full LED conversion.. but it all depends on the look and purpose of the car, and of course, budget.
Anyway, feel free to post this information to the list.. that should give everyone a concept of pricing and how much work is involved. Remember, our products are NOT simple bolt-on items that you will see on every S2000. Just about everything we sell (besides the misc JDM goodies) are all custom fabricated. Check out the Lexus SC, NISSAN S13 240SX, 93+ Supra, and 90+
300ZX products - that should give you a better idea of what we offer.

It looks like they only want to do some they want to do, but for some this might be an option.

I got the exact same response from them - word for word. The problem is that you need to send your headlights to them for 6 weeks....ummmmm, that means I need to buy another set or not drive my car. Another set used is going to be about $500 or so, plus the $500 for their work...so for a grand, I may as well just buy European spec headlights.

Yeah, the letter started "here is a copy of an e-mail I just sent out to another S2000 owner, this should have info that pertains to your question:"
It looks like they only want to do something for our cars that "They" want to do. I also this they are trying to keep it @ $500 or so, to make their time worth it. I think I was hoping for a cheaper solution, that was a direct fit for the ERU, or JDM lights. But they are the only game intown for custom car lighting, so I guess they get to do what they want.
So if an LED burns out, do you have to ship the lights back to have it redone? And the cost is $$. I know that LEDs last a long time, but they do burn out and it would be my luck.

I am working through a friend to find out if a local shop that manufacturers car parts can make them. They do a lot of prototypes to bid on contracts to make parts. If I can get him to make clear diffusers based on the orange diffusers, that would be golden. I'll let you know as soon as I do.

I've corresponded with Mike Mamos several times regarding the front orange reflectors in our cars. I even talked with him on the phone! I believe he is a one man shop, that's why it take him so long to do one job. He basically caters to people who have $$$ for their show cars.
I probably wouldn't go through him unless you want to spend the $$$ for the job.
