I have "cargo organizers" for my Element and CRV.

These are vinyl/fabric rigidized/partitioned devices that take up a little more than half of the hatch space and keep things from sliding around by their design and the fact that they have straps. When not used, it folds flat and out of the way.

I picked up something similar (yet much smaller) at Wal-Mart. It has velcro on the side and bottom. It is not rigidized and is long and skinny. Didn't work well in the S2000.

To describe exactly what I'm looking for: A short-height cargo organizer that is the general shape of the passenger floor. It would be rigidized a little, so the compartments are easy to use. As I'm on the road by myself with sunglasses, a camera, a notepad, music, etc. I can throw all that stuff into the compartments and not worry about things rolling around. Then when I have a passenger, I can either collapse the organizer to the center console in a flat state, and/or completely remove the organizer and stow it in the trunk flat or open.

If not already avaiable, this would be a good idea for a person who has a business with S2000 accessories! Muz, Rick, etc, are you there?

For the poll, assume the price would be about $40. This is what a larger cargo organizer for an Element costs from HandA-accessories.

I am always looking for additional products to store items that make sense. I have always thought that a passenger side beverage holder that sits on the floor would be good. The one in back of the shift knob is lame and inhibits one from shifting normally. Typically I drive alone and rarely my wife wants to get out on a sunny day so that floor space usually goes unused. I am a coffee drinker and like to make my morning runs to Starbucks where I spend time with other sports car enthusiast. You can buy a cheap plastic beverage console product at any Walmart but it does not fit the floor of the S2000. It rocks or sits at an angle.

Pics? No pics! This is a wish list not an actual product available. We can all wish for something.

I'm locking this thread because I found some fantastic products that fit the bill at a lower cost than I expected.
