I think you need to clean your mechanical hardware . So much dust and pollen this time of year, I notice how dirty the inside of the S can get. I have to wipe down everything at least once a week!

 

^^^True enough...I always forget it when I wash the car and clean the interior.

 

The nice thing about the straps is that with them fixed, that damn tonneau cover that everyone complains about and never uses actually goes on in 2 minutes instead of 15, due to struggling to get the damn snaps on, the top sat too high before! So on one of those days you're going out and want your car to look at its best, it's now easy to actually get the cover on

 

I was never aware of this. I'm gonna have to look at mine now. Proper maintenance on these are a must. Btw, i don't mean to thread jack, but do you necessarily have to replace the whole top if your plastic/glass window is damaged or are they easily replaceable?

 

Just got my modifry straps in the mail today.
