The Convertible Heat Setting
It works ok for me but it's far from my most common setting.
I set the vents to recirc when I'm on that setting and it does ok.
My feet get WAY too hot usually though, so I tend to just leave on top-only with just enough air to keep my hands warm on cooler days.
If my feet get cold, I just switch back to upper/lower.

I have noticed that in my 07 if i have that mode on full blast it blows my radio circuit! The radio will stop working until i turn the car off and back on to reset it! anybody else ever have this problem? It is only after maybe 45 minutes to a hour of constant heat....but still...
I use it ALLLL the time,,, Here's what it does,,, If you use the, upper/lower setting,, the wind from driving with the top down, will "take" the heat coming from the upper vents because they are high in the dash,,, if you use the top down setting,, it blows the heat on your feet,, AND from the small vents right above the center console,, RIGHT into your lap basicly,,, I think it works well,,,

Probably the radio is overheating and just needs to be reset...

I actually use it more when the top is up and do not want the heat blowing directly on me. maybe its just me.
yeah I love the convertible setting. I never use any of the other settings, bc I have contacts. Having hot air blow in my face only causes my contacts to dry out and it causes them to become uncomfortable. Now the 105 degree summers are a different story.
