The only reason why AP2 tyre sizes are different were to mitigate some snap oversteer among the other
changes that had gone through.
changes that had gone through.
215F/255R is the slightly wider tire sizes I'd run, so they got that right on the CR. +10mm all around if they are truely 215/255, not over/under sized... my 225 fronts are much, much bigger than the stock "215"s...

Guys guys guys...in any case this is good news for us...now we all don't want to trade our cars in to get it...and now it makes me feel like my 03 is a little more special
the CR looks pretty nice, the color and wheels make it weird and somewhat ugly. imagine it in black with different wheels. i think it would look mean!
you guys talk so much trash about how ugly it is and the wing is so disgusting. It looks like a freaking Mugen wing! i have seen quite a few members on the board with one.

i gaurantee a lot of you will have a change of heart after driving it and seeing it with different wheels.

To AHM:
I know there are a lot of Honda corporate guys reading this site.
I just want to say that I'm not trying to attack you, though it seems that way.
You guys do a lot of hard work, it's evident. You also work for Honda which I
know that mere fact promotes your drive to work harder.
I say however, that I think your direction is being misguided perhaps from above.
This was a styling exercise first, engineering second or none.
The opposite would be true for JDM Honda.
That sentence right there is the entire reason why throughout time they have
always seemed and been labled 'Conservative'.
I like Conservative Honda, they brought us the S800, the 1300, NSX, S2k, all
the Type-Rs, etc....
Redefine your goals, make Honda Of Japan step back and say WOW.
Look at the Two Civic Type-Rs. One from the Uk and one from JDM. Look at the
areas of focus. Look and compare the level of detail of both.
Two Type-Rs. Two completely different cars.

i expect to be disappointed after all the hype, but thats just me

I was just looking back trying to find that post and i was laughing to myself when i saw other comments like "the CR will sell like hotcakes" and "the CR will become and instant collectible"
edit: I just checked,
April Fools Day was 3 days ago Honda! You almost feel like they are going to say "gotcha" and roll out the proper CR sometime soon!
