GL-5 90W

Plenty of people also go with Mobil 1 75W90.

Right...Sports car noises.

Most likely you are hearing the LSD at work. In tight slow turns, one wheel is moving faster than the other, and this makes the LSD lock up. I've had a faint groaning sound that was coming from my 06 at slow turns, but it went away after putting some LE 607 in the diff.
It's a torsen differential, it doesn't really "lock up" in the traditional sense.

But i've heard great things about LE607 fluid in helical differentials.

hot damn....it's NORMAL. Trust me. I've ridden in over 10 07s ALONE because i thought something was wrong with my 07 as well. This car is not a granny luxury car. It is a proper sports car and it's bound to have some raw machine noises here and there. YOU ARE OKAY.

It's normal during turning my 06 does it, its the lsd. If it's whinning in a straight line or clunking thats not normal but since yours isn't your fine. Trust me it takes alittle getting used to since your senses are hightened with your new car.

I don't think it's normal. I switched to LE607 at 7k miles and then noise went away. LE607 is straight SAE 90, though on the heavy side. Since I've put it in, I have noticed some noise if I don't let it warm before accelerating a little harder. But noise pulling away, doing a sharp turn, is gone. Diff is also noticeably quieter. So, try the LE607 (or it's replacement at Rick's), but give it 3-5 miles to warm up.
