Do you A/C when top is DOWN?

You bet I do, why not use it, I paid for it.
The only problem is if the humidity is high it drips ice cold water on the passengers feet.

Actually, guilt about being a wasteful indulgent American has driven me to stop running the A/C with the top down.
Nothin' wasteful about it - on hot days I would use the A/C with the top up or down, so why not keep it down?
If running the A/C at a few cents per ride allows me to enjoy my $35,000 investment the way it was meant to be enjoyed, then I'm all for it...

depending on the drive, i do. i have a 45 minute drive in stop and go traffic on my way home from work. down here in florida that sun gets really hot! if i just cant bear it, i will run the AC when i come to a light and am stopped. once we get rolling again i usually turn it off. like i said, that florida sun is brutal. as a matter of fact, in the dead of summer, i usually find it too hot to put the top down during the day(11AM-4/5PM)

do you really think a guy that has a F355 Spider is going to be worried about wasting gas in his 4-banger honda ???
ferrariman's post in this thread (from above):
"i do sometimes, although when i do i feel stupid, and at the same time i am wasting money gas"
You have to ask????
I LIVE IN THE DESERT!!!!!!
of course I turn the AC on...if I didn't I would
a) never drive with the top down for about 3-5 months of the year
or
b) slowly melt into my nice black leather seats and never be able to get out of my car (maybe that wouldn't be so bad!?!?
)
I haven't noticed a huge power drain either with the AC on...definitely not like 4 cyl cars I've had in the past...and the MPG is reasonable...
It helps keep your legs and arms cool, which makes a big difference here
since it is just a "dry" heat and all.....(whatever...120 degrees is still damn hot - humidity or not!!!)

What is wasteful is same monarchies living (literally) like kings while "their" people suffer.
I don't use the A/C when the top is down. But again, I live in Pittsburgh where the summer temperatures only reach the high 90's. I saw a few posts about the people who see temperatures to the 120's and I would have to say, I'd reconsider.
