I fixed both of my problems. I glued a patch of OEM soft top fabric on the inside to cover the holes using Shoe Goo. It seems to be holding great, despite the fact that it is at probably the most stressed part of the top. I also glued the velcro strip back down by the rear window, and that seems to have fixed my folding problem (picture 2 and 3).

Hopefully the Shoe Goo will be strong enough to last.

I had the same wear holes on both sides on my 00. Honda replaced the top and I paid the labor. I had reinforced pieces installed and the plastic guides behind the wear area removed as that seemed to be causing the problem but they started wearing again after about 6 months. It is clearly a design flaw and I just hope the same thing doesnt happen to my new 04. The extended warranty didnt cover this flaw either and I was pissed about the whole experience. Screw that extended warranty.

For the holes use the silicon method but I also saw some goop at the store and I'm that would also work well. Several weeks into it and 98 degree weather and no more creases or worrying about holes

I to wonder why there is 2 patches of velcro on my plastic window on the outside on each side kind of weird. There are also on the inside.

I had the same problem at the bottom corner of the top with the "flap" getting caught up. There is a blck molding strip that runs along the bottom edge of the window that was a little to long on the passenger side. I clipped this off (as it seem that this flap was getting caught on the falp) and the prblem went away.

No wear holes for me (yet!)

Good Luck!!!
