Does aftermarket intake help stock?

I think I was unclear... I didn't mean the intake increasing MPG, rather the test pipe. Is that worth it?

I like the AEM one...the blue one matches the car ...but iono if i'm willing to shell out a couple bills for no real performance.

i have a k&n fipk and an aut cooling plate. i think it made a very noticable difference. feels faster, revs faster, and i have a secluded road that i use to test out my car, and i go from a point a to a point b on that road, and im completing it faster and at a higher speed than before the intake.

k&n includes a dyno chart with the instructions, shows a peak gain of 9.55 whp.
