You think the S2k is bad? Try riding a motorcycle...

Fact is this is a normal part of day to day driving so YOU need to adjust your driving habits. Stop hovering in blind spots or going too slow.
this is complete bs. Mirrors are there for a reason. If people don't know how to lean forward and look in the drivers mirror or passenger mirror....OR.......use your neck and head to turn and look BEFORE switching instead of doing so after they're already halfway over the line, they don't need to be driving...period.

Thats an oversimplified answer to a complex problem. Cell phones, arguments, screaming kids, young drivers, old drivers, and countless other distractions will keep all drivers at some risk today and forever. Stay defensive and you will stay safer. There are no guarantees once you leave your driveway what you may encounter on any road.

My daily is a double cab tacoma and I have an issue with people constantly trying to occupy the same space I am. I will never understand how people don't see a giant truck. I have a simple rule when driving the s, unless it is bumper-to-bumper traffic, I don't let people drive beside me.

When I see these threads I always end up wondering if these are the same people that just mindlessly drive next to other people on the freeway for hours on end. I've had this happen to me maybe a couple times as I feel its really unavoidable because dumb people ARE out there. However I agree that if this is a common occurrence then it is likely that it is in fact your driving habits that need the changing.
I dont EVER chill in someones blind spot, or right beside them for that matter, I also dont let other people drive in my blind spot. All that is literally my biggest pet peeve.
I remember riding with my mom a couple months ago after I came home for winter break. I remember asking her to speed up so she wouldn't be in the person in the next lane's blind spot and she replied with "Im already going 3 over, do you want me to get a ticket?" I replied with, if that means that we wont be killed by that guy running us off the road into the ditch, yes I want you to get a ticket.

Another reason why I think these absolute speed limits are dumb. Sometimes speeding is necessary in order to not be killed in a giant ball of fire, but thats another thread entirely
