I love taking road-trips in the S! I always go to Florida for New Years and this past year I was really pissed off that I couldn't drive the S.

Check tires and all fluids. It's a Honda, not a Ferrari so it'll do very well on a long distance trek like this without trouble. The only thing that I don't like it how easily my legs cramp up in that position around the 4-5hrs into it, but I usually need gas then and get to stretch.

I always keep a quart of oil in my trunk, especially on a long trip, but I've never needed to use it. Make sure you check fluid levels at every gas station as well.

+1 on earplugs, I don't have a soft-top, but if I did I would go topless the whole way.

i am really jacked for it, we ought to be passing through the Bonneville flats around 3 am, then onto the Cali coast for the rest of the trip. Pacific Coast Highway!! I am way ahead of you on the ear plugs.

these are the greatest traveling companion i have ever bought. if you fly a lot you have to have these, and they are way smaller than the big electronic canceling ones. these have gotten me through many hours in the back of a C-130.
