We had a pretty snowy winter here in NJ and I made it through the winter fine with my blizzak LM-22's, I never got stuck or lost control. The S02's suck in the rain, I can't imagine having them in the snow. Daily driver.

Drove 1 winter season with Blizzak LM22s. WS50 is better snow tires but where I live you could get away with LM22s.

Anyways, after one winter, I couldn't possibly subject my car to the torture. Not that I was afraid of the snow it was other drivers I was more concerned about.

Especially Midwest SUV drivers. They think they are invincible when it snows. Had plenty of scares in my S2000 so this winter I drove around in my 10 yr old Volvo which turned out to be a great winter car.

BTW, as others have already said. S2000 with proper winter tires, you are fine in the snow. Just use common sense thats all.

But I'd definitely suggest that you get a beater. Being able to save the car from all the salts, wetting interior from snows tracked from shoes and stupid drivers was priceless. Not having to worry about anything while driving in winter was great!
