The cover is pretty easy for me to put on, but I just don't bother with it. I don't plan on selling it though...

The Honda factory Tonneau Covers are listed at around $795 brand new.

Quite an expensive item to replace.

Lots of folks sell theirs off for $50 or $60 and I'm wondering if people are actually aware of the value of this item and if they'd be selling them so cheaply if they were?
Honda may list their retail at $795, but they can be had from a dealer for MUCH less.
Price: $125.00

Yes, you can buy a second hand cover from Handa for the price you mentioned.

From their site....

"Remanufactured by Honda, these were recalled from owners by Honda and modified to the new design specs by Honda.

They are supplied by Honda however they are not new units and will show some minor signs of wear."

The cover is ugly. I wish the car came with a built in cover like the boxster.

I bought a refurb, wasn't about to pay 700+ dollars.
The factory refurbs have a couple small, little (almost undetectable by the naked eye)bubbles in the product. Saved me a ton of dough.

Then it would weigh and cost more...

I use mine when I plan on driving for a while with the top down. I use it to limit the amount of road dust and grime. Not easy to clean the inside of the top and back dash area. Like someone said, only takes three or four minutes. Just my opinion.
Same here:

I'm also a regular tonneau cover user. My S is a daily driver so, I try to put it on as much as possible. Dirt, dust and pollen gets all over the top (I have the top down often) so I use it. It now takes me about a minute (tops) to get the cover on.
