Just watchout for the rear end to come out when cornering hard...

If you can afford new tires every 15,000 miles dont even worry about it.

Your tires squeal?
That's my question too. Mine never squeal. Pushed it hard enough to spin a 360. Tires never made a sound. Full drift on a on ramp. All I hear is engine.

If your S02s are squealing, you're probably through the first rubber layer and down to the compound. When mine start squealing I'm usually getting close to the wear bars.

Cornering fast is bad because it's addictive. Once you turn that 90 turn in 40mph, next time you want to turn in 45 mph, and so on.. Otherwise, you are being mean to your S2k. be safe & have fun driving.

cheers,

I must really corner hard. I'm on my 5th full set in 17,000 miles.

No money to mod the car because it all goes into tires.

I only have 3000 miles on my stook and my front tires have little chunks of rubber missing on both front tires...on the outside edge of the tread.

Is fast cornering bad? only for tires

FYI I have been able to make my tires squeal around turns since I had 300 miles.

no problem as long as it is not full throttle... (VTECing in turns can lead to unwanted conditions!) [/B]
I love taking sharp corners that's definitely why I'm looking for new tires!!! Oh well I'm still enjoying every minute of it!!

I like seeing my stoneage Gtech, the parking card hanging from the rear view mirror, angle almost horizontal when I take the hairpin turns and sweepers near my house. Fast cornering is baad in a good sort of way!
