I am on a budget. It seems the ap1 is best for me. Ive been looking around and it seems hard to find an ap1 that doesn't have a different motor, or needs axles. Thanks for the help
Track car on a budget? You should be looking for a Miata.

Th edebate between ap1 and ap2 will go one forever. My opinion. They are both just as fast and handle pretty much the same. The ap2 is cosmetically much nicer than the ap2 so that is why i chose it.

IMO, go for an AP1. If your looking for a track car the AP1 has more of the rawness/stiffness you might be looking for in it. It probably fits your budget much better as well. Just make sure you do your research when looking for the right car. Alot of good AND bad ones out there.

Ap1s have snap oversteer while the ap1s are a bit more neutral.. This can be fixed with mods however. Out of the box ap2s are faster. As a daily driver the ap2s are so much more livable. I have had an ap1 for 140000 miles then a second with 70000 and finally my third an ap2. I miss the 9k redline but the ap2 has so much better torque at lower rpms. Take off from a slow roll on the ap1 is like driving a civic
