This is exactly what happened to one of our local members. Unfortunately his did catch fire and had he had an extinguisher, would have been able to minimize the damage.

I am looking to put a fire extinguisher in the trunk for looks obviously....any suggestions on mounting places and brand of extinguishers.....pics are defientely welcome as i would really like some inspiration...thanks

If you want it just for looks then don't do it. It's way to ricey man. If you want it for it's intended purpose, the just put it in the tool well. Mount it to the lid or something so you can take it out easy.
