The other night my friend and I were driving to one of our other friend's house. Midway this Hyundai starts tailing my friend's S2k so he moves over. My friend gives me a call to mess with the guy. I didn't know who he was talking about until I'm blinded by the jerk's highbeams.

So instead of speeding up I slow down. This only works to piss the guy off even more. He high beams me. Swerves. Closes on me and backs off and closes again. I'm starting to get scared. My friend's just watching from his brand new S2k in the lane next to me just behind me..(it's 2 weeks old btw). I'm thinking "I can't have an accident here cus he's too close and might get caught."

I speed up and pull ahead with the guy still on my tail but now we're in an open space where he can actually pass. He doesn't. WTF??? He's still riding my ass.

Well in the course of 5 minutes he manages to piss me and another car off and that ends up in me and the other driver doubleteaming his ass. I turned off my headlights (this was at 11:30pm-ish) and start to catch up. Once I start to close in i unleashed my high beams. The other car gets ahead and starts to brake check. Then those two speed off cus my exit was coming up. =\ not exactly a hater story but just a "jackass on the road" story.

Be careful guys.

 

I don't know what is up with people, I get soo much good and sadly bad attention from my car too.

the thing is, MY CAR IS ABSOLUTELY STOCK!!! (for now)

I would like to start carrying 10mm ball bearings in my car, just for those bastards in their lifted redneck mobiles

 

i don't think my experience had anything to do with being in a honda, but rather just having an open car and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. i know that guy is getting his, that's the way things work.

i cannot fathom anyone hating S2000's any more than any other car, sure perhaps an exotic but surely not a honda? stupid stuff, the more you drive the more stupid stuff you see...sunday drivers for example...

 

This was on Route 3 West, coming from the New York side, in Easy Rutherford right by Giants Stadium.

Oh... I remembered another thing. One of my friends has an RSX-S and one guy decided, just out of no where to just cut him off multiple times and slam on the brakes in front of him a few times. Bad decision on my friend... he decides to pull over to ask what his problem was and the guy started talking crap right away. As the guy got closer to my friend, he pulls a nice and cuts him across the right cheek, spliting it wide open. He had to get 400 something stitches. Well he took down the plate number and cops caught him later on that night. It just so happens that the guy was an ex-convict.

This made me think of the story because you never know who you're messing with on the road. Lucky for my friend it was only a slash... could have easily been multiple stabbings. Crazy people out there.

I know how you feel about getting revenge. Just puts my blood boiling man.

And yes... this car is amazing to drive with... We should go cruising sometime man.

Granted... it is a honda but a lot of people don't know that. I think you agree with me that the S2K is an eye catcher. It looks nothing like your typical honda civic or accord, so people that really don't know much, will think it is something else. And in this case, they didn't seem to be too car suave, from how they looked. I mean, I know I shouldn't be judging based on looks, but they just had that look... lol.

I think the S is more prone to get picked on than most other cars. Honda in general has been intertwined with ricers and therefore gets a lot of unwanted attention both from jealous ricers and people who hate ricers- look at how targeted Civic SIs and Integras are.

It is even worse for the S, being at the top of the Honda food chain, an open car, and very eye-catching, you end up with a car that is going to attract far more haterism than anything else in it's price range, or even well above.

 

I was driving in my old R home from the club etc saturday night around 2:20am and these two idiots in a camaro/firebird whatever they are kept trying to run me on freeway finally i punch it in 4th gear and take them easily then they speed up and throw a empty beer bottle at my windshield and my brother starts freaking out looking for crap to throw back i just rolled down the window and tryed to get them to pull over... t hey wouldn't of course... my car sandwiching them with the freeway devider was enough to make them pull over for an ass beating though
