After two weeks of owning the car, it finally stopped raining and dried up enough for me to clean up the S2000 and take it for a joy ride.

It was a beautiful Sunday drive involving some back roads and the Interstate. I was amazed at how quickly 60, 90 and 100mph showed up on the speedometer. And it handled like a champ. I hit 120 once, but slowed down to avoid any run in's with law enforcement.

Finally, I was able to say, "God, I love this car!"

Now, if only it would stay sunny and dry...I'll be able to do it again. And I ordered a radar detector as a birthday present from me to me (today is my bday). Hopefully, it'll be here before the end of the week!

I purchased the Bel Vector 985. Hopefully, it'll work as well as I've heard.
