I agree with gfacter.

I took about half a day, working slowly and carefully (my wife helped lift it on when that time came). No adjustment was necessary for mine, but the instructions tell how to adjust it, without tools, if necessary.

Just follow the directions.

My last install took about half an hour. I'm up to 3 so far .

Very easy to do. The only part that might take time is running the wiring for the older models for the defrost. I never did that so I have no idea how long it takes.

Holy shit?! $1100 dollars??

It took me and a friend literally an hour and a half to install the hardtop. This is something you need to install yourself -- the nature of the hardtop will require occasional tweaking here and there and if you don't know how it was put together, you'll have to rely on the dealer.

I would avoid that dealer from now on -- that quote is pure BSS
