Default Hardtop removal

Hey guys quick question. I bought a hard top last year and the guy was cool and helped me install it but I'm ready to take it off for a couple months. Do I just need to change the front brackets back to the soft top ones or do I have to go back and removal the back panels and remove the other madness?

From your picture it looks perhaps like you do not have an OEM top. Perhaps you need to be more specific about what year car you have and what type of HT because I know that on my OEM hardtop (MY2007) I don't have to do anything when removing the HT.

There are four connection points, two front and two rear. They are either latches or possibly bolts. If your top is aftermarket, you may have bolts. Do you have the OEM latches in front?

Its OEM, I have all the latches from when I installed it I couldnt remember if I could just put the ones from the softop on the front and that was all or if I had to take the ones from the back off as well. I should have paid more attn but beer makes for short attn spam.

Just unlatch the front latches and rotate the rear lateches to remove the hardtop. Nothing needs to be removed or relocated for the soft top to work as it has it's own front latches.

make sure to unplug the defroster. If you have the oem hardware it will be really easy to pull it off (follow fast D's instructions)- if you have brackets then it will be a pain because you have to unbolt them.
