i wanna see if you can guess what i used for insulation of the air box. you'll laugh when i tell you. it looks a little ghetto but this is not a show car, so i don't really car. i went to an autox this weekend and the car had no bogging off the line even in near 100 deg ambient air temp.

Just rev it a little higher. I drive in 90+ degree temps everyday and I just rev a little higher than normal to get it going and get no bogging. Stock intake too.

Is that house or a/c insulation??

the stuff on the snorkel is foil tape used for AC ducting that i got from Lowes awhile back for the house. the stuff on the air box is a windshield visor to reflect sun. i used it because it has foil material on the outside and a layer of insulating foam underneath.

you can also get this stuff but i think the foil tape should work the same.
