With all the styles and manufacturers out there it is confusing on what to buy.

What is the best quality, vented hood made that uses factory mounts/latch without the need to add pins?

What is the weight savings over oem hood?

Are these hoods good and stiff and do not rattle down the road?

 

This thread has a good discussion for you. It says that it is hard to beat the weight of the stock aluminum hood with carbon fiber.

By the way, that's some truck in your sig. I wish I knew something about the extensive mods.

Lots of money and time. Not bad for a 3500 rpm red line. lol

 

Personally I like the REAL J's the best. Has hardly any weight savings, although it looks great and you will not break the bank completely with it, around $900-1k.

Also, I want to say how much I like your truck, I found myself reading about it before your actual post.

 

The Amuse hood is probably the lightest and strongest you can buy, and is also the most expensive.
Stock hood: 8.4kg
Amuse normal: 3.7kg
Amuse race: 2.4kg
