Hmm let me try to point out its location for you... Well it says, "Sensor, MAP" on it, it's about an inch long, and it's attached to the intake side by two Philips screws and a power plug.

If you start at the air filter box and follow the path air goes into the engine, you'll run your hands over it. Pretty close to the throttle cable.

Unscrew that sucker out and smack it a few times. It fixes an unsteady idle for me for awhile, but after a few hot laps on the track, the problem comes back again....

...for those people out there who try to rev the engine hard without waiting for it to warm up, you're asking for trouble. the #1 cause for premature engine damage is hard use without enough time for the car to warm up.

wait until you get the bars on the temp gauge + another 5-10 minutes for the oil temp to be at operating spec. you'd be suprised at how cold the engine oil temp is when you still have 3 bars on the coolant temp gauge.

Forgot to mention the problem to the service advisor until I picked the car up
He mentioned the cold temp rev limiter but agreed that after 20-25 minutes of driving in 85 degree weather that that wasn't the issue. He didn't really have an answer. I'll let it go for now and hope it doesn't happen again.
