i just changed my stereo back to stock, but left the new speakers in. the sound is definitely not as good as it was with the pioneer HU, but its not bad. not baaaad a-tall.
i'll certainly be able to deal with it until i have enough for another head unit.
also, i guess i was moved to group buys - if anyone either has or is about to buy a pioneer head unit, i'm selling my "pinky's mod" in exchange for your wiring harness and like $75...or best offer. shipping is free.

i explained it in the group buy thread....
i bought myself a new truck, whose stereo system is worse than the stock s2000's. i feel the pioneer HU would be put to better use in the truck, where i can use it to its full potential (with amps, maybe a sub or two).
i plan to get a new (maybe cheaper) HU for the s2000 after the truck is properly upgraded.
