It is now black but i could only find a tan one when I first did this mod 6 years ago

I just velcro'd my remote to the backside of the dash down by the steering column. Completely hidden, yet easy to access. Took 60 seconds to install.

You know whats funny, i see at work all the time. People with Lexus that has homelink, they don't even read the owners manual to find out that they have it. So they just use a regular garage opener thats clipped on the visor, right next to the homelink.

Interesting idea on placement. I thought that spot is where the leg would lean while driving but my leg rests at a much lower position. Easier to wire in this position, too, I think(?).

Good job! I can't wait to get mine done.
