That's a bit of a big statement there Kwando. I would never put hood pins through an authentic hood that is designed for high speeds (Mugen, J's, Amuse) not because it might spoil the look but the possiblity of hurting the dry carbon and ruining the resale value (if that is ever a factor).

With the replicas I would try to get away without them as long as I did not notice any flex in the hood or stress fractures showing. I have never heard of a hood for the S2000 flying off yet, but I have seen the stress fractures.
