How do you drive your S2000
I go with the flow in traffic, like everyone should. I let it scream on twisty backroads with no traffic, without being too dangerous. I VTEC multiple times almost everytime I drive. I have 64K miles, am on the original clutch and have had zero problems... knock on wood.
If you own a S2000 and don't regularly VTEC and take it to the twisties, I sort of feel sorry for you. That's one of the most enjoyable things I do.

Not necessarily. You can get up to speed and keep it under or near PSL.
Also, with an intake only it's pretty stock sounding until WOT.

Nothing wrong with driving the car on the street like a reasonable human being.
Zinging it to 9k every once in a while (or all the time) on the street isn't the same thing as utilizing the car to its full potential. If you're not tracking the car, you are not fully utilizing its performance anyway.
You can't get away with driving over, say, 7/10ths for long on the street. And the fun doesn't really start until 9.5/10ths anyway. As far as I'm concerned, on the street I may as well drive it at 3/10ths as 7/10ths, and 3/10ths allows me to get better mileage and keep my license.
Personally, I think its great that the S is a *very* reasonable and somewhat economical (I average 28mpg) street car, while also being a very capable and fun track car.
I totally disagree with the notion that if you don't drive an S2000 like an idiot on the street, that you got the wrong car. The car's plenty fun at 3/10ths.
