I have swap out the engine many time all by my self in my garage at home with no lift. I first pull the transmission then pull the long block out from the top with a standard cherry picker.
I found it pretty simple doing it with a cherry picker, the car was only on basic jackstands in my 1.5 garage. No issues with that method. I bought the cherry picker to do this job only, and sold it right after the project so it cost me very little.
I’m about to attempt this using the same method. do you have and more pictures?

i pull the front bumper, set up the front cross member on jack stands... then pick up the vehicle with the cherry picker from the front bumper support. then using a jack I drop the subframe onto 2 furniture dolly's and roll out the entire subframe.. engine/tranny out within 1.5 hours
