how to put on voodoo shift knob?
I just gave the solution that worked perfectly for me. Teflon tape works great, you just stop before you bottom out the knob at the tape holds it in place the same as the loc-tite does.

You can stuff some paper or something in the top of your knob so it doesn't twist as far and keep adding until it's just right.
I cut some of the threads off my stick so it sits even lower. It's super nice and feels better than other ones I've felt that have not cut the threads. The key is to cut the threads at a 45 degree angle. That way, if the numbers do not align, you can just turn the knob really hard and it will bend down the top of the cut enough for you to turn the knob in the right position. No fooling with glue everytime or tape.
