one other significant thought... how the hell is this guy doing a compression test if the 3rd piston is jammed.... wouldn't that kind of prevent the crankshaft from turning if the connecting rod is still attached in any way?

To me this whole thing sounds kind of shady.

ccarnel and integrate:

I totally agree with your posts, and respect your opinions.

It's great to have guys like you on the board!

s2kchan: Sounds like you are right about the head. Don't feel too bad, I just spent well over $7,000 fixing my S, after an accident. Good luck getting your S back together!

Well, with those cylinder pressures, he could put on a turbocharger with, say, about 100 lbs. of boost, and still be safe. And then again, with compression like that, pinging shouldn't be a problem. Run it on crude oil and save money!

Bieg,

I agree with all you say.

Hang in there.

I think way too many owners are Vin D. wannabees, not realizing that, "hey man, it's just a movie'!

That last thing I would ever purchase is a used s2000.

At least you will find a higher percentage of people who can spell
What does spelling have to do with moral and ethical integrity. I don't see how spelling has anything to do with that. Are you trying to make this into another issue? Do you discriminate against people who make less money than you? From your attitude I'm beginning to think so.
As far as I'm concerned discrimination based on socioeconomic class is no different than discrimination based on race.

Bieg, you are the type of person who ruins the boards for others. Who is going to want to visit this board and occasionally post and then get a dickhead response? You seem intelligent, so why dont you use that to help out chan instead of being a dick.

Custer, what the hell is wrong with buying an S2000 used?? I bought mine used, so please explain why it is so horrible.

ccarnel and integrate right on! Bieg, the only thing you are correct in is that trying to scam Honda is immoral but as for everything else well... it's sad that you think that way.
