Owner's manual, Index Page III, you'll see "Emergency Brake", it basically refers to "Parking brake" on page 79.

But regardless what it is called, I'd still like to know what is the wisdom of "pull the X-brake to slow down" (posted by pcloadletter) as opposed to using the brake pedal. Can someone shed some lights on this for me please.
