and if they're traditional asian parents, then that means they're the best parents you've ever had.
Did he have worse parents before?

I know I regret trading in my traditional asian parents for the caucasian ones I have now.
But they are both better than the pair I had prior.

This goes against the spirit of s2ki.com and most of its members and the car scene in general, but blowing money on wheels is retarded. They'll make your car, a piece of metal, look cooler. That's it. They won't make YOU look cooler. They also won't make you smarter, taller, more educated or intelligent. They won't give you a raise or advance your career. They won't get you laid more. They might, however, impress other young dudes that are in the car scene. Think about that for a second... spending money to impress other GUYS. I don't know dude....
This same logic can be applied to your S2000. But why did you buy it? Because it puts a smile on your face. And maybe these Advans would put a smile on OP's face. I'm not sure why people always say, "Who are you buying these for? Who are you trying to impress?" When did self purchases automatically become purchases for others?

Yes, some people do purchase to impress others but that doesn't make it so for everyone.

Quick Solution:
Join the United States Marine Corps...Which make you move out of the house...Earn more money from getting deployed overseas "More money to spend on the S2K"...No rules from parents...and free school with the new Montgomery G.I. Bill. At the end...Everyones happy Benefits you and your parents! LOL

"Hardcore Asian"
"Bought and paid off by self"
"Still lives at home"

Let's take a guess at truth in advertising.
Parents paid a huge salary to the kid to take out the garbage for a year and promise to be a good boy and stay in school, find a good Asian girl, get married, make grandson. Somewhere along the way, parents will pay another huge "salary" for doing the above so he can buy a house so he can do the above.
Are we getting close yet?
I think I'll head down to the local daycare and watch a couple of tantrums.

Good thing you aren't asking your mother about an X-Brace.

I remember that one.

i meant that because his parents are traditional, it probably means he hasn't had a different pair, no step-parents, no single-parenthood. i know my parents are teh best ive ever had

If you dont make enough money to live on your own, then you cannot afford the wheels...
