Are you documenting the before sound dBA levels? Roof up/down. Cruising on the highway. After each "stage" of insulation. iPhone app is actually pretty good.

I probably should.. kinda cold for top down right now, but then I do have an electric heated jacket. I have the phone app meter. Might or might not do it after each stage, but we'll see.

My wife got me one a year ago for Christmas. The yellow trim matched the car and frankly, I was surprised how comfortable it is. Great for chilly top down draining. Even without the heater going, it is a nice jacket.
Is this the brand you got?

Readings will add some scientific credibility to the normal "is (or "seems") much quieter" claims. Don't get frost bite but it's 55°F here in Richmond as I type this. .

I have a Dewbu, the wife has a Ptahdus and a Venture.. they are all pretty similar. We got spoiled with the electric jackets we had on the Harley. These aren't as good as those but the work off a much smaller battery.

The S2000 has a "roof down" heater setting on the function knob. Right in the center and it uses the central duct right above the radio to blow hot air.
Air flows from the center
vents in the dashboard above the
audio system, the vents on both
sides of the instrument panel, and
from the floor vents. Select this
position when you drive with the
convertible top folded.
