It's Official!
I stopped by the Honda ClearLake dealership today and saw that color chart for the 2002 models.
The blue is not the same as the European/Australian blue. It looks more like a Volkswagen Bug blue. The leather also looks hideous.
I'm glad that I didn't hold out for our version of "Blue".

As for that noise you hear, Yellow S2000 is right, it is the sound of the MSRP dropping for the 2001 Models.

Why? Not everyone will love the "Miata 10th Anniversary Edition"

The post shows 8 paint chips, same as '01? I see no verbage suggesting blue on blue is coming to the US? Also there are 8 interior "chips shown" while today there is only red and black? If a new blue is coming in '02 what are the other 5 colors shown in the post?

Is that a new name for the blue color currently available outside North America or an entirely different blue?

Anyway, I think I just HAVE to trade in my Silverstone Metallic for Sebring Silver Metallic. Who could put up with Silverstone any more?

I stopped by the Lisle Honda in Chicago's western suburbs, and they didn't have the 2002 brochure yet. I didn't think the sales guy was particularly helpful either, and told me they are selling the S2Ks for $35k. Unless anyone of you have really great things to say about the Lisle Honda dealer, I don't think I'll be buying my car there.
This Suzuka Blue looks kind of like the Electric Blue the Prelude came in this year...
As for the glass window, I would love it if this were true - even if it added some weight (negligible, if you ask me), and cut down on rear vision. I have the Muz mat and it helps with the scratches, but most of my scratches come from the top part of the top when it hits the plastic - not the plastic hitting the well. I would love to have the option to defrost/squegee/and generally forget about the back window...
